Testimonials and Recommendations

  • Megan M.

I was lucky enough to have Becky and Ashlee taking care of me as a first-time postpartum mom and their care was unparalleled. I truly had the best care that anyone could ask for, and this made my entire postpartum experience so enjoyable. Being postpartum is HARD, and the care you get during this period makes all the difference! My husband and I were constantly impressed with the knowledge and skills that both Becky and Ashlee have, and we felt so much more relaxed with them guiding us through the process. No amount of reading or classes prior to birth can truly prepare you, but these two ladies are actual angels on Earth. You will feel so confident! You will never forget the way people treat you in your most vulnerable time, and thanks to Ashlee and Becky, I have nothing but positive memories. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done! Thanks for a successful postpartum and breastfeeding journey! I’m so grateful!

  • Dr. Katie Towles, MD, FACOG

“Ashlee consistently prioritizes the patient experience, while providing top notch clinical care. Her confidence is very helpful in emergencies and when difficult situations arise. She is diligent with clinical protocols and makes sound decisions when independence is necessary. Feedback from patients confirm Ashlee's nursing skills provide some of the best patient experiences of the nurses I've worked with in my nearly 13 years as a physician.”

  • Cecelia H.

“Becky is amazing! I worked with several lactation consultants and she was the best. She cared for me when I had both of my kids. I was so relieved and happy to see her at the hospital after I had my second baby. She is skilled and knowledgeable about the general postpartum process and especially about breast feeding. I wouldn’t have been able to figure out breast feeding if it wasn’t for her help and follow up. Becky is fun, patient, non-judgmental, and very supportive.”

  • Dr. Jarod M. Cates, MD

“I am a pediatrician and have worked with Ashlee since 2012 in her capacity as a nurse, caring for newborn infants and mothers. She has consistently demonstrated clinical judgment, teamwork, and patient care skills. I would recommend her for any nursing service without a moment’s hesitation. Any patient would be very fortunate to have her involved in their care.”

  • Katie A.

“I came across Ashlee and Becky in a critical time of postpartum stress and exhaustion. I was struggling to breastfeed my premie and was considering giving up altogether, until I found Fifty-Two B.E.A.M.S. They were so patient and kind and helped me through this tough time. I would recommend them to any of my friends or family!”

  • Dr. Anna Wildermuth, MD

“Becky has been instrumental in the care of mothers and babies in the Newborn Nursery. She is an expert in lactation services and is kind and patient in her advice to new mothers. She is calm and well-spoken and makes mothers feel comfortable while learning.”
